Why doesn't your god stop this insanity doom?

What kind of a god would allow this to happen?

What kind of a god would create human creatures he allegedly loves and allow this to happen to them?

If this god was "all knowing", then he knew this would happen, yet did it any way. And you still choose to believe in your ficticious god?

What does that say about believers?

Its not about why would God allow this to happen, because obviously they will be punished for that. It is why would mankind allow this to happen

I am trying to figure out what the heck you are getting at

And I'm trying to figure out why you and others believe in and worship a god that allows things like this to happen:

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?

Then he is not omnipotent.

Is he able, but not willing?

Then he is malevolent.

Is he both able and willing?

Then whence cometh evil?

Is he neither able nor willing?

Then why call him God?” - Epicurious

Can you not see the insanity of attempting to justify a god like you worship?

Can you not see the insanity of your, alas, all religion?

God doesn't allow it to happen, MAN allows it to happen.

The question is, what will you do to right a wrong be it you believe in a God or you don't?

Sometimes free will is such a bitch.

As far as punishment for letting "wrongs" to happen, who is to say for a FACT what will happen when one dies. Our feeble minds can only comprehend the life we live.

I really fail to see how you could of read it twice and claim to know a God who you claim to be malevolent

I fail to see how anyone who has read it only once, or read any of the violent passages could claim the biblical Judeo-Christian god is NOT malevolent.

The seminaries of the world are a great producers of Atheists.

I'm an atheist.

I don't have a problem with religious people for the most part. However, I fucking detest the pushing/pimping/recruitment of ANY religion. One of the simple reasons as to why so many atheists don't care for Christians is because they are always pushing their religious agenda. This includes using the bible to run our secular government, pushing for prayer in secular public schools, pushing our secular schools to teach *intelligent design* (which is a douche-baggy thing to even call it), pushing prayers during secular government gatherings, and oh-so-much-more. It gets really old when you're force-fed the same old Christian rhetoric.

If you (general you) want to read the bible and crow about every story being true (word of god, etc...) and you WANT to give your money away to a church - I don't care. When I start to care is when someone else insists that their brand of faith is true and feel compelled to inject it in our government. America is NOT a fucking theocracy.

So many Christians also fail to live by the old adage of "What Would JESUS Do?" Because if they honestly think that Jesus Christ (as he is portrayed in the bible) would turn away a gay, lesbian, transgender, disabled, disfigured, mentally unstable, or (fill in the blank) person, that's not a religion I want ANY part of.

Are you saying this is proof that evil exists and if God created everything then evil is a creation of God?

I'm asking what kind of deluded individuals continue to worship a god that is supposedly benevolent and loves his "children" yet would kill his own creations in this fashion.

Tell me doom - would you let this happen to your child?

Who is to say God is reponsible for the death of these children? No, I would not intentionally do anything like this to anyone. Are you saying that it is the fault of the parent if a child dies no matter the reason?

My opinion is this situation is a result of evil in the world.

We are talking about starvation doom. Would you let your child starve to death?

My opinion is this situation is a result of evil in the world.

And why does your all powerful god allow such evil doom?

I already answered you. No, I wouldn't allow it but mankind is allowing these children to starve.

And why does your all powerful god allow such evil doom?

Because there are many things that are necessary for mankind to exist that aren't pretty. You may call it "evil" but it is necessary none the less.
