why do christians wear crosses?

*face palm* It was just an example...I suppose I've said all that I can in this thread.

The point is substitutionary redemption is immoral. A fantasy example doesn't change that.

First, unless you've done something you're not telling us, you don't deserve a death sentence. Second, if you did then it would be immoral to let an innocent man die in your place.

i mean,if jesus ever came back the last thing he'd want to see is a cross,it'd be a bit like giving jackie onassis a snipers rifle

Some (counting myself) wear a cross, not a crucifix. A crucifix is a symbol for the pain Jesus endured on the cross, and the cross, when blank, is a symbol for salvation.
Additionally people wear the heart, the cross and the anchor together, symbolizing love, salvation and hope. At least in my country people were the three together, especially diakons.
