Oh wait that was sarcasm.. I'm still waiting on your example of where a communism regime is also not a dictatorship, and where communism as flurished successfully....

Quick Google it you may find something!

Resources influence everything. Why else you think nothing has been done about N. Korea which is probably the worst pit in the world as far as atrocities and oppression go?
To be honest I'm surprised the US even bothered to invade Iraq. It seems it would have been cheaper just to strong arm Saddam to sell the oil for cheap.
Unless of course they really thought he had big firecrackers hiding under his bed.

No, according to this FBI source that's been blabbing to FoxNews, Saddam thought that we'd just aerial bomb him again like we did in '98. He was prepared for that, so he just acted like he did indeed have the WMD's...even though he didn't. He was trying to make a strong stand against the US, that's all.

PT, he's new and hasn't had the chance to actually talk to any of us yet...you and I have gotten into it before, just as a lot of others have had their difference of opinion...

I'm coming right out and saying that I was shooting from the hip earlier...Cotton really sparked my wick, but after further reading of everyone's comments, I think we need to just chill...

LOL, yeah, but those interviews weren't until after he was captured. Us and the UK still thought he hade tons upon tons of WMD's buried out in the desert...

We didn't put it past him since we literally dug out several MiG's he had buried in the middle of the desert. I guess he was thinking that he'd just dig them out and start again, I dunno.
