Wires will always be better than wireless, but i play wireless at home, and it runs faster than any other connection I use (but its a different ISP).

Anyways, as for my gf, Im very, very low maintenance in a relationship. If someones busy, thats all good. It was more of her never wanting to do ANYTING that involved effort, didnt get a job, took a semester off school. On top of that, A LOT of wow guys hit on wow girls, myself included when Im bored. That didnt bother me until one of them sent her a real life mail, then I just said fuck it lol.

I played it for a few weeks but it got extremely boring, quickly. I think I got to level 20 as an Undead Priest.

MMOs arent for anyone, you definitely have to do un-fun things to have more fun which after, but most every game is like that anyways.

I may be loosing my mind, but I'm considering restarting WoW. I've got 5 characters, the top toons are a L60 Human Paladin, and aL53 Night Elf Hunter, a L30-something Night Elf Priest, a L20- Human Warlock. I've been told that TBC has a lot of 5 man instances. I'm really thinking that I could restart and do only two nights a week. (Imagine the alcoholic with only two drinks a week. ;)) I just have to ponder if I want to get back into the highly attractive rat race again. Remember, I'm mostly interested in PVE and small party questing and I am an Armorsmith, for whatever that is worth.

I realize they have done a ton of class balancing since I bailed. What's the latest conventional wisdom on strong solo classes? Blizzard seems to think that the Warlock is an excellent Solo Class. But Shadow Priest has always intrigued me too. :D

70 is totally different than 60, wow is also muuucchh more casual friendly than it was at 60, and at 80 (1 month til wrath) itll be even more casual friendly.

There are mutliple 5 mans, and a "heroic" version of the 5 man which drop better loot/badge of justices (a token system to buy epics). There is karazhan, which is an easy 10 man. every boss there drops epics.

As for soloing class, Warlocks are definitely strong. As are geared enhancement shamans, hunters, or PvE geared rogues.

Resto druids are the most represented class in PvP right now, shamans are typically the most in demand pve healer for their DPS buffs/healing capabilities. However, a major content patch is releasing on tuesday and level 80 talent trees will be open, so all of this shit is only gonna be up to date for a few more days :p

Idk if this will help, but there are also "arenas" in WoW, creating competitive PvP. I am a multi-season, multibracket (2v2/3v3/5v5 are the current sizes), multi-character gladiator (top 0.5% percent in one of the three brackets).

Thats a video I made, its from my warriors point of view.

I lost my mind and signed up for the 10 day trial. Trying to figure out what characters I want to push up. I've realized something about WoW and it's only taken me 4 years. If you want a MMO which focuses on exploration, you are not going to really get that in WoW. You will visit new zones and possibly be wowed by the scenery however this game is all about the end game- raiding or instances of varying sizes. I think if you don't over do it, the 5 player instance is just about the best thing going in online gaming. They really are fun.

But if you look at the game when I originally quit, most of the end game focused on 40 player raids and I hated it, absolutely. And I was burned out from playing too much, 20+hrs per week. Plus TBC, the first expansion has a large number of 5 player instances and I think WLK will have lots too. I think if you can get up to the cap and don't play every day, the instance experience can be a blast.

Regarding rich and rewarding exploration- the WoW game world is just too shallow with loads of kill and collect quests which get repetitive fairly fast.

really? In questing? I found 99% of the quests utterly forgettable.

I think that's your problem. :D If your want to get into the story behind the quests, they are interesting. Or you can just click, click and get your reward and forget the story.

most quest lines suck until you get to 60 and then 70. its also even more enriched if youve played any of the warcraft games. i personally dont play for lore atall though.

I like the other Warcraft games, but I'm the same, the lore doesn't particularly interest me. Although it is fairly good, if not slightly unoriginal.

you should hit 70 and do achievements/5 mans, fun stuff. i hate 5 mans, but i did all like 17 of them...

oh, incase you didnt know theres like 15-17 5 mans in wotlk, all of them have normal and heroic modes, heroic is simply harder with better loot
