I was with a friend yesterday and they were ordering crab from a friend, so I ordered 10 lbs to have ppl over next Saturday....some mussels, oysters, crab, salads and munchies. I think I'll try them then...don't worry, I will definitely be making them! They sound awesome!

I add a little Cayenne pepper in with the cream cheese, you don't have too, but it's a nice touch.

Yep, I typically only make chili that time of year also.

Pretty much anything that requires me running the stove or oven at any temp for a long period of time is off limits in the summer. Even the Croc Pot gets neglected.

I always have chilli in the freezer, it's so easy on busy days.

Agreed with the oven. Hubby wants cabbage rolls made, which isn't a problem now that the days have cooled off

I don't even like them, but he does. I mix in a little hot italian sausage with the hamburger meat for a little extra flavour, apparently it's really good.
