seriously, teh vist rawks.

keeps on keeping on, and staying on too. runs old software (1998+sp's) very nicely, as well as games.

*need* 'nother 7800gtx; sli mobo; sli-ready psu.

--------

I have ubuntu on the other hard drive, and do not feel like trying to scrape around again on it. it are were slow. but i was interested in mint... and since you guys mentioned it, i might give it a go soon, depending on when i get one of these three hard drives working optimally.

I dual boot. I own a MacBook so MacOS is always on there, and I use it a lot for work so that is what I selected in the poll. I use Windows on my other partition though (generally XP but recently I tried the 7 beta) for gaming and whatnot. The graphics card sucks but it can run The Sims, SimCity, Half Life, and other pretty good games.

vista home premium 32 bit, 3 gb ram, Intel core 2 duo 2.00 ghz t6400

not bad for a laptop under $650 right ? i can play Killing floor, unreal, halo(the first one), half life, rise of nations, NFS underground(the first one), left 4 dead, WoW, SWAT, Joint Ops. all without lag.

i can play call of duty 4 call of duty 5 on lowest settings with barely any lag

multiple options; easiest: model number -> google; press enter, look for "specs"/reviews (they generally list specs)
