What If You Didn't Have to Sleep?

No, really, I'm serious! What if you didn't have to sleep? What would you do with all that extra free time? Would you get a second job? Would you start an insomniac street-dance crew? Maybe you'd just stalk your ex-girlfriend on her Facebook page all night (there's never enough time for that).

I think I'd probably use that free time to catch up on my back logged reading. It sounds lame, but I have so many books I've intended to read, for like, years now.

I already have a second job, and let me tell you if I didn't have to sleep my would not have such a problem with my memory........what was I talking about again?

I barely got any sleep the past few days and it feels bad. If I didn't have to sleep, I'd most likely either grab a book, as you said, or simply spend the time I had doing other stuff I enjoy, such as driving around, browsing forums. It'd be really strange, no doubt.

I would simply watch movies or shows. Nowadays I don't really have time to enjoy them without worrying about working on something.

I'd be so bored. So very very bored. I really couldn't imagine what I would do if I didn't have a way to kill 7 to 10 hours.

If I did not have to sleep I would get so much accomplished. Although it would be weird, because I think you would witness your body growing lol.

Having insomnia is a life altering issue. I do not mean that type of insomnia where you roll around the bed and only get several hours of sleep before starting the day anew. I mean the type of insomnia where you are constantly doing because years have been wasted rolling. It effects your whole perspective of the world. Things are different and you become different.

So, I guess my answer would be writing dark, disturbing, and introspective haiku's!

If I didn't have to sleep I'd probably just go crazy with the amount of leisure time I'd have and no one to spend it with since they're all sleeping. If no one else had to sleep either I think we'd probably all be forced to work much longer hours each day!

omg I would get so much done!! lol. Aspects of my life need a lot of attention to detail and preparing etc and I would just be so... prepared! Oh the productivity! lol

I'd love it, and I'd try to use the time to get so many things accomplished. Of course, I'd probably waste a lot of that time playing video games and watching TV as well, but at least this way I wouldn't have to be spending my "normal" time on it.

I guess it will not be like extra time because that is how things will be running from the beginning of time. I think I will be able to enjoy life double. Its like doing what you like times 2. Cool.

If I didn't have to sleep I'd pick my car and drive to the other side of the world. I really dream about doing a big and long travel where I don't have to worry about nothing else than enjoying the moment. It'd also be handly as we could live double. At the moment you live 14-16 hours of your day, you'd live double if wouldn't have the need for sleep.
