It's very good. Greatest graphic novel ever... could be my favourite book but I'm not sure.

I saw a trailer for it when we saw The Dark Knight. It's looks intriguing.

BTW, in the poll, the Atheists are ahead, kind of shocking... but followed closely by the Agnostics.

Nobody can be certain of anything until they actually die. I notice that for the most part Atheists on here have skated around their beliefs as to not start a major conflict. I'm not a fan of religion but I just hope for something more and you want to believe there is more out there. And there is nothing wrong with that.

I was curious about people who don't know the novel seeing that trailer. It doesn't really tell you much. To people who are familiar with the character it's like YES THAT'S HIM, YEAH, THAT SCENE! But this trailer is just like "here's a few things happening and it doesn't say much." But I'm glad you found it intriguing anyways.

I tell you what, if one of y'all actually get a report back from a dead loved one about the conditions, then we'll talk.

Beyond that this thread is NOTHING but wishful thinking and/or fantasy....Here's what I do know from what I have seen of others deaths:

Lots of folks show up to pay tribute, some out of guilt because they should have been seeing you all along during your life, the others, they're just hoping for a slice of the estate.

There is a service that seems to last an eternity, many people speak about the dead, but say nothing if you catch my drift.

Then we haul the individual to the gravesite, bury the casket....SAY MORE SHIT.....then go to somebodys home and eat until you can no longer walk.

Now show me that in the Bible (sense sarcasm???)

If the "afterlife" has anything to do with that kind stuff...leave me out...I ned the sleep anyways and from what I hear eternity is a pretty long time....No snooze button I guess

I say this in all sincerity, funeral services are for the living, not the dead.

Any sensible person with common sense and the ability to think on his/her own knows the Bible is a bunch of bullshit. The bible has nothing to do with an after life and or the belief in Gods or a higher power.

I'm a medium. And have had many conversations with the deceased.

I'm going to be really pissed if your making this up to be funny. Because I do believe mediums are a distinct possibility. I've watched "Beyond" with James Van Praagh but I've always said that 1) it's real or 2) it's for entertainment and I have no clue which because unless you there and you know the background and can verify that it's not a setup, there is no way a viewer at home will ever know. It's been protrayed that Mr Van Praagh has helped Police Department's solve crimes. I watched one such case and if it was not faked, it was impressive. :)

O.K., when you talk to a deceased person, on what level does this conversation take place?
"Hello, how are you?" or some other level?

I didn't mean to suggest that i think those children can die just because they're from Georgia. I just don't think that children are a good reason to not fight a war. There will be civilian casualties, and hopefully they're kept at a minimum, but just because a few kids will die is no reason to not act.

It's very rare that a dead person will actively seek me out. Usually i'm the one that does all the calling.

That really doesnt supprise me!! And as for your "favouritism" towards which war is more benefitical to yourself...goodluck.

On topic, i believe in an after life...i believe in a higher being,...well i hope so cuz ive lost all faith in humans!!!

If you want you can just add him to your ignore list then you don't even have to be bothered by accidently reading his posts if you find them to be consistently annoying. That is what I do and it saves me significant time when reading a thread. It also keeps me from being tempted to get in an argument with members/trolls that enjoy arguing and being disrespectful to others.

Can you each tell me how you know this is true, please?

Common sense. Science. Fact. Of course, the key word in your question was "know". So you cant prove it. However the door swings both ways Valley, Can you tell me how you know its true that you do go on somehow after you die? No, you cant. All you have is belief, not proof, sorry. I want to believe that. I want to live forever. But I just cant believe it.

It's like holding down a conversation with anyone. Usually "how are you" is the first thing a client want's to know.
How the deceased conveys it's message varies though. Obviously no body means no tongue, so they can't speak it. They communicate in other ways though.

So your "thinking" this communication?
