If I say you're a dumb ass, does that mean you are?

I'm not trying to overanalyze anything, just that if you got the boot, I could understand why.

Personally, on an internet forum, I don't give a flying rats butt who is right. If it's that important to you here, I suggest you get a life;)

It possibly could mean I'm a dumbass, it would really depend on the merit of which I speak out of my ass or mouth; something The Man hasn't learned to differ from yet.

I'm not trying to right and it doesn't matter to me, either. It seems it does mean something to you... I can sense your panties creeping tighter in your ass whenever you respond to my posts to which I give zero effort. :D

By the way not everyone is cynical and rude in there inner most and personal thoughts, so the "tell it like it is" campaign that you have been on is a bit moot. IJS

This is just me. One reason internet forums are so much fun and they're here to manipulate whenever I want to.

I've read some of your off the wall ramblings before. What you write really means nothing to me.

I only respond because for better or worse, it's in my nature.

You call a guy a dumb ass on an internet forum, and I happen to think it's wrong.

That said, after reading the rules again, it's a cluster ****.

Find it so funny the rule of calling someone a name is only "broken" when the person the comment was directed to cries? Kind of like telling kids that no fighting is allowed, but if a fight breaks out, no one will be punished if no one goes crying about it. I'm not the type of man to go crying to someone else if someone wants to call me a name. But... I can see 20 different people call other people names and if no one cries about it, no foul. I happen to call someone a pussy and they cry about it, I get an infraction? Sorry, that's total bull s***.

My ramblings do mean something to you and it's not inherent in your nature. You just cannot keep your mouth shut and go the other direction because you have an itch to try and catch me in a trap because you hate my essence. :D

I may be hated, but I'll still bring some manipulative dialogue to the board. Isn't that the point of a gd forum??

I don't know that you are achieving your goal of manipulative dialogue. I think that if you approached it more philisophicaly, and less abrasively it might have a better effect.

And my point is proven.

So every one call call each other names until someone complains?

You don't set policies and let other people decide when those policies should be enforced IMO.

In V's defense, that particular rule is one that was lobbied for by the members. In a show of good faith, the staff relaxed the rules. Unfortunately, there ARE people who use that to their advantage...but it's what you guys asked for.

EXACTLY! I didnt WANT that rule.. but its what the members wanted.. so i caved. If you are against what he says against you, REPORT IT.. Simple and I will handle it. :) And if you read the debate rules its simple.. If you cant take the heat, stay out of the kitchen

Actually if everyone discussed topics civilly and without name calling with the acceptance that this is a debate section and not beatup section, people could actually talk about things and express views the believe in without being ridiculed..

But people feel the keyboard offers them the privileged to abuse others.. Sad as it may be, they rather try to bully a view than discuss one..

But the policy is to let the people decide. See? I think it's the best rule here, personally.

So one person can get away with name calling and another can't?

It makes absolutely no sense.

And Francis, you're absolutely correct. That's one reason why you have rules in place.
