Oh I'd always hated jogging...Really it was the worst thing that could happen to me, but recently it's grown on me. Sometimes just I feel too lazy, but when I make myself to start it's perfect! Really enjoy that)

just before i broke my foot(due to running) i was going to start to run regularly again, but after learning how easily it is to break the bones in your feet from running i don't care to ever try to run again under any circumstances....so good luck Dana! I hope you stick to it and enjoy it! I loved to run!

Seeing this thread appear in the new posts bit has reminded me to go jogging again soon.

Haven't done it once since I moved house.

I was running 5k 3 or 4 times a week last summer and I found it very addictive. I felt so much better, mentally and physically, but any sort of exercise does that.

I moved and lost my beautiful setting to run, if I wanted to keep it up, I'd have to run on the streets...which I hate! I tried a few times to get back at it but I hate the setting and having people gawking at me.

Anyway....I know I have to get back to that happy place, thanks for that C25K link....it looks just like something I need to get back into gear.

That's funny b/c when Jersey and I were living together she was seriously concerned about how she was supposed to get to the park/trail behind our house when there were no sidewalks from my house to there. She was NOT thrilled about having to run in the middle of the road, LOL

I took the side street when I went jogging, the sidewalks in this and the neighboring towns suck because the terrain in Maine is so hilly... So the sidewalks veer down hill and walking you have walk calk eyed or walk in the street sometimes esp. if more than one person is walking. There is a track at the high school though. I just haven't been out jogging since. I just tend to walk as its easier.

Yeah, that was another thing Jersey asked me..."where's your sidewalks???" Only a few of our streets here actually have sidewalks and they're the main thoroughfares, not neighborhood streets.
