WELL its happening

The news isnt getting better, they have confirmed another child dead :(

We are on flood warnings to wait until the morning the river in brisbane will rise tomorrow once high tide hits and thats when we have to be ready to move if it floods quickly.

Its scary as hell and i cant think of anything but making sure my boys are safe, i have packed bags for me and the boys have torches, fresh water and have stocked up on food. We are having our power cut tomorrow morning early so i dont know when the next time ill be able to sign in and let you guys know whats going on.

Be safe Keight and to everyone else who lives near or around where she lives with the flood warnings, get out of there and also be safe. <3

So far no flood here, being high up has an advantage, power is still on but those who are lower are expected to be hit. Its going to ruin brisbane. The mess the loss of lives everything its so sad.

We are waiting for the river to rise this afternoon at 3pm and then again thursday morning at 3am, thats when it will be at its worse

How are the supermarkets near you? Are people panic buying?

and one other dumb question...is the airport closed do you know?

my ex flies in this weekend, and daughter is supposed to drive up to get him....we cant find any news on it...or whether or not she'll be able to get through

I've been in the south most of my life
the gators are vertically challenged and yes they can run faster than us
just climb up something and your good
and yes if they want you they will run after you for a bit but not long though run out of energy fast
I have swam in bayous where there were about 8 or more gators.
They want to eat you but they are lazy just don't give them chance and they will give up
