That's absolutely awful. You've been hammered with some pretty intense rain, then. :thumbdown

I was on a conference call listening to it last night and was thinking "Cool... I like to going to sleep listening to the rain"... wake up and find out that my county has been declared a disaster area by the governor. :eek

Yeah, isn't that a scary thought though?

Doing well, and how about yourself?

Doing well. Taking a break for a bit to breathe before I study for my Philosophy test in the morning.

That's insane. And fast, too. Sheesh. :eek

I remember when I had to take a gen ed course in philosophy; wasn't my strong point, I can tell you that lol.

Haha, well I considering majoring in religion..and so I dove headfirst into a 244 class..Philosophy of Religion. It's definitely a style of thinking I'm not used to. It's hard, but I'm actually really enjoying the class.

Wow, so you really went into one of the upper level classes to start with, eh? Good for you! :thumbup But that's great to hear you are enjoying the class :)

Yeah, never flickered. It was like I was in the eye of the storm.

I didn't even lose any roof tiles (that I can see), but 2 miles away the road collapsed and cars were washed away.

Better safe than sorry.

Mother nature is not something to go against!

Ohhh trust me... I see any standing water higher than18 inches and I am U-turning.

Wow, that's quite a bit, so how many credits is that then for 6 classes?
You are like the ultimate multitasker lol But still, I congratulate you for juggling all those things; that's great! :clap

Thanks! :) That's 18 credit hours. I haven't been to college for the last three years since I graduated from high school..so I'm trying to make up for lost time. All my friends are graduating with their bachelors in the spring..lol

Good!

When we get heavy rain here.. most of the roads have 2 fee t standing water because they don't know how to build drains in this city..

My car and I have some fun.. I love driving through puddles though..:24::24: It's the country girl coming outta me:D

Well, I'm not having a lot of luck for what I went for and I'm starting to wonder if I should go back for another degree; I'm not sure all what I'm doing, but with this economy, it's not looking so swell lol

I remember taking 18 credit hours one semester and I had at least 1 to maybe 2 of my classes suffer grade wise, since it just was WAY too much for me to handle. I know better than that if I'd ever do it again, I can tell you lol.
