You know I wondered if the state of the economy increases theft. It seems so here. During the last recession, I would often see shoplifters getting pinched or running from store personnel. Then that dropped off as the economy improved.

Meth addicts take certain pills, anything that has "DM" on the box... uhh... yeah... also certain brands of cough syrup, hmmm also this other type of pills that is in a blue box, of course painkillers and maybe cold fx to sell off again.

Here, they have locked up Sudafed, but I still see DM products on the shelves. I've heard of kids drinking cough syrup to catch a buzz. Bleck! There is even a name, but I cannot think of it, for the drink they make from it, if they mix it.
Thanks for educating me on this Anie. Sometimes I see torn up packages on shelves, it makes sense to me now as to why I would see some kinds of stuff that was obviously stolen.
