Ohhhhhhhh but they are so easy!

Peel, cut, and boil in oil until they float.

Pull them out, drain and flatten in a tostonera (the small wooden cutting board thing...it has two sides, connected by a hinge... you mash each piece in there)

Then throw them back into the oil til they float again. They also kind of "scream". They emmit a high pitched squeal. :)

Voila!

Mine have officially been approved by Cubans. :)
