Oh and what the hell happened with the school.. They had reports of a shooting with 2 dead, and 2 hours later another 30 die! COME ON! Shooting should be an automatic school closing regardless if it is a isolated incident or not. Get some common sense school officials!!!

Hes absolutly right, its not the gun , its not even the 'fork" and the people, the stupidity and lack of knowledge of these darranged ppl which probably started with child hood, but i wont get into all that. just wanted to say that was a fucked up peice of news, and my thoughts go out to the families.

I can't believe this fucking shit!! Did anyone else here how they informed the kids in this event. At 7:15 AM the first shooting took place, 2 kids dead in their dorm rooms. The genius people who help run this school decide its a marvelous idea to send out an E-mail about the shooting.....AND THAT'S IT!! Yea you heard me THAT'S IT!!!!!! 2 hours later at 9:20 AM 30 students shot in their class rooms then the fucking pussy kills himself. Their in no excuse for the 30 dead after the first 2...an E-mail are they kidding me. THIS IS 100% UNEXCUSSABLE! Unfucking believable! I blame the first 2 deaths on the shooter and the next 30 on the shitheads who thought an E-MAIL was sufficient. Every single person on that school board should be fired without question. Gone, never to work in any school system anywhere! What the fuck went on during the 2 hours when this guy was walking around campus with an automatic weapon!
And to top it all off the police are not even sure if it was one gunman who did it. Now I can respect that in the chaos of it all they may have not been sure if it was one guy or two, but when the press asked "Are we still looking for another shooter?" They refused to answer any questions on that AND have not yet begun any kind of searching for a 2nd shooter. WHO RUNS THIS PLACE!! If I had a kid at that school and this shit went down I'd want to know if a 2nd pissed off guy might show up in a week and pull this shit again. This may be the overall worst handled crisis I have ever seen.

Just heard that they guy that shot everyone is from China.....a foreign student!! What the hell!
It was a single gun man. He did not have automatic weapons. He was carrying 2 semi automatic pistols. A 9mm and a 22 cal. He had his chest loaded with clips full of ammo so it was a split second reloading. A foreign exchange student could not have legally baught guns.
Here is my theorry on what happened(this is soaly speculation). This foreign student whos parents probably gave litteraly everything they have to get there son to school so he could make something of himself and not be poor like them(fairly common scenario). The boy failed out of school, witch was probably his own fault but I know better than most you want to blame other people even if it is your fault, and knew how mutch his parrents had given to get him there. So he decides to kill himself.....but on the way he desides to take out every one who he blames his failing on.
Seriously people like this, if there wasnt a gun in this world he would have still found a way to pull it off. Poison the food in the caf, pipe bomb, hiding in the bushes and slitting throaghts of people who walk buy, several small explosions at strategic structural points in a building during buissy hours. Seriously any of these would have been just as easy to pull off if not easier and more deadly. Dont blame guns cause where there is a will there is a way.
This is not a new phenomenon, its not the world changing or getting any worse. What the hell do you think Hitler did. Seriously not all that diferent. A little more organized and more suport but same basic concept. All these people must die so I am gonna kill them. Luckilly this guy didnt have the brains or charisma of Hitler.
Im not gonna wright a 2 page paper on this. This is just the tip of my iceburg, but if I go any farther more people than allready are will be completely lost cause I tend to wander all around in my wrighting so I have to cut it waaaay short.......your welcome

Police identified the shooter as Cho Seung-Hui, 23, a senior in the university's English department who lived on campus. Authorities said he was a legal resident of the United States.
The gunman, a 23-year-old South Korean student, Cho Seung-hui, killed himself.

He was NOT an American citizen. He was a resident alien (a green-card holder) who had moved here to the states with his parents 14 years ago.

i know its more national than the Virginia Tech situation... but I think classes were cancelled for about a week after 9-11 for the psychological effects on the students... alot of people from my area lost loved ones...
but in the same respect, many of the students have lost friends and/or loved ones in this event.

Hey Levi here. The shooting is sad and affects everyone even if you did know any of the people who died in the crossfire. I don't know what's going on with all these school shootings. No one is taking students seriously when we tell them that someone is bothering us or that someone is making us feel uncomfortable. Even though that wasn't the reason why in this perticler case that has been the case in some. In the meantime, teachers need to start getting off their lazy butts and try to make a way for us kids to get a point across to them before we start all start going insane.

I hear they are doing a great job of getting in scores of counselors for the students and staff. Some on campus and some off campus. These poor kids are going to need a lot of help coping with this...
