thank you boomie... i just know all these liberal bastards are going to try to pull the gun law crap over everyone right now....
it's not the registered gun owners that go nuts. its the freaks that get them from friends, parents, theft, or off the streets.
I am a registered gun owner and a conceal carry holder. Not one of these things make me a killer.

Forks are used for eating, the primary point of guns is to kill, if there were more stringent laws about owning guns then not any wacko could just walk into a shop, buy one and then go out and kill a load of people. Gun laws do work because they are illegal here and we have a far far lower amount of people getting shot than you guys do, the stats speak for themself.

My brother has a friend that goes there. My parents were deciding if they should call his parents or not when they heard his dad on the radio saying that he heard from his son and he's OK. But my brother met some of his friends and we haven't heard anything about them.

Any wacko can't just walk in and buy a gun. There are background checks and things like that. But that doesn't mean that a person can't just buy one of the street. Besides, you can't just look at gun deaths. Look at the overall murder rates. Japan has very few gun murders but murders by knife/sword/sharp object is much higher than the U.S.

I'm just saying, it is a lot easier to get a gun in the US than it is here, the easier something like that is avilable the easier it is to fall into the wrong hands, I don't understand why so many average Joes in the US own guns or defend their right to own them, why do you need them? I respect a persons right not to have to run the risk of being shot a lot more than I respect someones right to own something which only has a use for harming!

I posted it here and thought the exact same thing as i was posting it. I go to a larger school in a small community as well. :(

Scary thought.

My thoughts and prayers are with the families affected, as yours should be as well.
