So what are the chances the executives of Hostess will get jail time for grand larceny once the company goes bankrupt?

About the same as the Wall Street execs that wrecked the economy.

But why not?

The company used the employee contributed pension fund to stave off bankruptcy and when the company finally liquidates, it will never be paid back. This is $3 per hour of the employees money that was stolen without due process. They had no choice, they weren't asked, it was just taken from them. Isn't that theft?

Read this article John, it explains a lot

Yep Obama cares so much that now people are charged a tax if they don't have health care. He cares so much that the nation is trillions further in debt. He cares so much that the nation still has troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Only if you can afford it and refuse to get your own coverage.

You said that all of your jobs provided you with health coverage. Didn't it upset you at all that your premiums were at least 25% higher than they needed to be to cover those who refused to get coverage?
Don't you think it's fair to have those who can cover their insurance do so? Because if and when they get very sick, you will be the one paying their bill. It's not free, someone pays for it.

And if you don't make enough to buy your own insurance, then the government will give you subsidies so you can get a catastrophic policy. You won't be taxed

Who is to say who can afford it?
Who says anyone needs it...its their body.

You approve of abortion right...but not the right for a person to decide whether to have health care....The more you post tim the worse it gets

So you can afford health care and refuse to buy it? You just pay cash when you go?
You are part of the problem. You are the type of people that I pay for every month when my premium is paid.

You may choose to not have coverage, but I have no choice but to cover your expenses when you get seriously ill and can't afford the massively expensive life giving care.
When choices YOU make affect how much money I pay for my health insurance, then yes, it's my business.
I 100% support anything you want to do as long as it doesn't affect me. But the second it affects me and the the rest of the community, then expect to be regulated according to what the community wishes.

You have not paid a dime towards my health care...I am not part of your problem.
I in fact help in keeping the price down...as I watch where my money goes.
You with insurance dont have to care as you are not picking up the tab.
Insurance companies do not pick up the tab of those with no insurance tim...that's bullshit.

You want to see the price of healthcare go down?
Ban insurance.

Stick with me on this for a minute....The insurance companies are not losing money.
Therefore they receive more than they pay out.
In essence one is paying his own bill anyway.
So the public is getting less in healthcare than they are paying in.

Why costs are so high tim there is no competition....due to insurance.
One shops for the cheapest insurance...not the cheapest care...This is key
Stick with me on this.

Lets apply this to automobiles for a minute..
fender gets hit...you have insurance.
You go get estimates....low man gets it..they bid low to get the job....say 900 bucks

Now without bids
You go to the first repair place
Drop off the car
The bill is 5 grand...you dont care as you arent paying it...insurance is
They charged out the ass as they knew you wouldnt be "shopping"
People dont shop heathcare they just go get it.
They couldnt shop if they wanted as they wouldnt tell em a price as it "would depend"

See tim....insurance is determined by what heath care costs....its seriously flawed as there is no balance of competition along the way

If everyone had pet insurance you would no longer be able to get spots nuts cut out for 100 bucks..would be about 2 grand.

Here is what determines heath care rates tim.

How much the insurance company is willing to spend to fight the costs the hospitals etc are raping them.
If other words if they spend 40 percent on lawyers and save 41 percent its a win.

The shopping is done for insurance...not for the healthcare.
The only thing this balances is the competition of insurance...not the price of healthcare itself.

No tim the choices you make also determines ones price of health care...if you like to ski and break your legs all our premiums go up tim.
So the choices you make affect how much I pay for health insurance is my business {using your logic}

You cant have it both ways tim.

Perhaps you should start a petition to bring about charges on Obama for the automaker scandal then John.
Not only did he fuck those that rightly deserved...he gave the largest portion of Chrysler to the UAW !...who decided that union wages and benefits were to high...they now receive normal factory wages for their labor....Fucking hypocrites.
Thats the union in action John....force their way in...bankrupt you...get the major portion of the company...then reduce wages to non union wages.
You start the petition John and I will sign it :thumbup

Fucking tards

When I stop arguing with my 2 year old son, it doesn't mean he won. It just means I realized that no matter how many times I explain something to him, I understand the concept is just to advanced for his little mind.
