I read all the books.....I wonder when Midnight Sun will come out? Or whatever it's called. Not sure what it's about, but it's from Edward's point of view

Ha. Yes. Yes, there are other teams.

I like it for a few reasons, even with all the trash talked about Twilight: I like it because it's a different take on vampires. You get all these vampire stories that are so cliche and follow the "real" vampire standards, and it tends to get boring. Another reason is that I'm a sap for romance. Look into my private collection. I have an assortment of romance books. It's my guilty pleasure.

I'm a fan of the Vampire genre (nothing young adult) and i think Twilight sort of damages the image of vampires, idk.

I read the first 100 pages of the first Twilight out of curiosity before it got HUGE and I didn't really see romance anywhere. Just lust. I'm not saying this stuff to be a smart ass, I just think there is a lot of honestly criticize.

That's fine. To each his/her own, and no two people are truly alike, etc.

And like I said before, I like Twilight because it didn't have that whole image of Count Dracula, I guess. I guess it doesn't damage the image for me because I've read so many different takes on vampires and the paranormal that I tend to see it as a creative endeavour for the author.

I'm going to ask an honest question: What makes you guys enjoy Twilight?

the twelve year old girl inside of us who wants a handsome immortal prince to sweep us off our feet and think we are special.

well...it's really romantic...but to tell you the truth, I'm not obsessed with it. I like Harry Potter too, and that totally balances out everything. If it werent for Harry Potter, I would be obsessed with Twilight like many girls

I'm not sure how it is romantic? It seems like a bunch of lust.

basis for their "love" : She smells good, she thinks he's a stud.
