Did he do one where he goes to France and sits down with this Little Frenchy and end up nearly insulting the entire damn country? I think I saw that one!

Holy Shit!!!!!!

I've seen the one where they took the wrecking ball to it...but to place it on top of a building that was being imploded is just incredible!

Oh yeah, what they did to that Toyota was totally amazing. I also loved the episode where they used cars as clay pigeons & shot them down with bigger & bigger guns.

This show also rates really well here in Australia, in fact apparently we have bought the rights to make our own local version of the show. They have been advertising for presenters for the past couple of weeks - can't wait to see what irreverence a few Aussies can come up with.

I dunno...I think if any of the US networks try to copy Top Gear, I'll shoot them myself...that was for you, Peter!

But seriously, I really enjoy watching the BBC version and frankly, trying to copy it is a poor decision. One of the few shows that the US has copied from the BBC that is working very well, is The Office. Our version is actually produced by Ricky Gervais, so you know it's going to be fairly true to form.

We get this on SBS in Australia, well Sydney, at least. I loved what they did to the Toyota & how it just got going again & again.

The last I heard is that Australia & America are both going to be making local versions of this show. I know that they have picked the 3 Aussies & I believe that they are in production now. It will be very interesting to see how it goes.

I always heard that 99% of that was staged. But the bit where they were attacked came as a real surprise lol
