A dental hygienist is going to tell u what they learned in dentistry school. Most dentists push fluoride.id ask my neighbor about it if she wasnt drunk at the other neighbors house (she's a dental hygenist)
I still think fluoride in any amount can't be good for you but thats an opinion. And dealing doctors most don't know squat... LOL We told 5 doctors about my medical condition and they were stupefied.I trust WebMd when it comes to medical/health issues. That's where the above came from for those wanting to know about fluoride and children.
any toothpaste will help with that.... Good try though. It also helps with halitosis.

i have white spots on my teeth too. 2 front ones.I'm sure mine has fluoride in it, but I use only the tiniest ittiest bit of toothpaste. All it does is reduce the friction between bristles and tooth and freshens breath. When I brush my tongue, I add a little more. But I use a mostly clean, dry brush to do my teeth with.
They put fluoride in the water where we lived when I was younger. My mom says that's why I have white spots on my teeth. Oh, and they came into school and made us swish some fluoride solution. Bubble gum flavored. Nasty nasty nasty!
:24::24::24:why on earth would you cut fluoride out of your child's life? You should be hooking him up to a fluoride iv at night, it's the only sensible thing to do.
they actually say that you dont have to coat your whole toothbrush in toothpaste. a small amount works just as good if not better
i was watching The Drs the other day.....they mentioned it

Well HTC if you started brushing daily the tube wouldn't last so long.I want to say someone at the dentist's office told me to not use so much toothpaste.
Saves me lots of money. My tubes last forever. I honestly don't remember when I bought the tube I'm on now.
fluoride prevents cavities? says who? because ive got a few cavities and ive used fluoride toothpaste up until today.Yep. Everyone can read all the literature in the world by doctors, scientists, etc. on any subject, and still have a very different opinion.
I guess you should do what you feel comfortable with when it comes to fluoride. If all your teeth develop cavities and fall out by the time you're 40..... you'll have no one to blame but yourself.
