Today is a lazy day

lol yeah you feel that way because you have a job, but after you've had a job for a while and then lost it all you'll think about is how much you hate being at home all the time and wishing you were at work right now lol

Yeah, that is true. I feel thankful I have a job, sometimes I get a lot of shifts in the week, sometimes I don't, being a casual and all. Sometimes I like days off though. All I seem to get lately is afternoon shifts from 3 or 4 onwards until night time. At the moment it's a bit monotonous doing the same hours all the time, and I just don't like having to do my exercise earlier in the day when it's boiling hot lol. I really want more money right now though.

I hated it when I had the mornings off and had to go into work in the afternoons. Just give me the whole day to work. :D

I prefer early starts and finishing at around two or something. That way I can come home and relax and then exercise at five like I normally do. I hate having shifts that cover the middle of the day. Like last Tuesday they rang me up at 11 to see if I could work 12 to 5, huh, what a joke, there goes half my day. Not to mention I need at least an hour to get ready, and I need more time to walk to work even. And they rang me up when I was still in bed, they weren't very convincing to say the least.

I hated working the night shift at my old job, I was 16-17 years old then, I was at home when all my friends were in school and at work when all my friends were home, lol wouldn't be a big deal to me now as social life isn't really all that important to me at the moment but as a teenager that really sucked.

Yeah, that would suck. I stayed until the last year of high school, so I finished just before I turned 18, I had my job since a little before I turned 17. If I wasn't in school I suppose I wouldn't have cared if I had a night shift, I've pretty much been antisocial since I can remember :p

Yea, I worked the night shift at my old job during the summer a few years back. My internal clock felt completely out of whack. I would go to bed at 4 in the morning and wake up at 3 in the afternoon. I never realized how much I took living in the day time for granted. :D

And once, the person who was supposed to relieve me didn't come in, so I had to stay for another shift. Craziness I tell ya.

yeah I was doing the same thing, I'd go to school and then go straight from school to work, it sucked. Then I got my GED and kept working the night shift until I got laid off, then they hired me back on the day shift which was much better. lol I've always been anti social too, I just have a few close friends.

I'd prefer probably starting early mornings, like six or something, and getting off at midday, just short shifts. I love walking out of the store and saying goodbye to anyone just starting haha :D

I am a morning person. I get up..... get ready to take on the day..... and do what I can until the energy is gone. If I get up and have to sit around before doing anything..... I get antsy. Especially if I'm waiting on others to get going.

...... but as for Fridays. I work.... so my day isn't really mine until after 3:30 p.m. (depending on the road conditions and if I have to pick something up on the way home) when I walk through the door at home. Today was okay. I got all caught up and when I walk back into work on Monday.... it'll start all over again. Job security to say the least though.

I had the munchies something fierce a couple of hours ago. I was tempted to make and bake some oatmeal cookies.... but settled for some pretzels instead. No way were they as satisfying as the cookies would have been. But they were easier.... just sitting there in that bag and all. :)

Tomorrow.... I am making and baking oatmeal cookies though. I checked the pantry. Got everything I need. :D

I'm exactly the same way!
