Mittens for your kittens?

It doesn't seem incredibly humane, and I would certainly try training first, but cat ethics are murky :p Where spaying/neutering is the same as declawing, the benefit is socially acceptable lol, where the benefit of declawing is not enough I guess.

It's so much more work having pets than I think most of us realize (my dog...I never anticipated the issues being a single dog mom would cause LOL). Huge commitment, huge pain in the ass sometimes, for sure.

We've only declawed if it became a problem.

No-sprays, water bottles(so much fun), scotch tape, and claw caps are always used first.

And you don't think they do after you cut their balls off? :24:

LOL...We deballed our first family Tom cat and after I picked him up from the vet and brought him home, he sat down in the floor and licked where his balls once were, and looked up at me as if to say "Man! How could you?!" :eek :( :willy_nilly:

people always say "the cat is indoors" but how many people lose their cats or give them to other homes even after they're declawed and then the cat gets outside??? it happens :)

Declawing a cat just to save furniture....
Where as neutering and spaying has health benefits, can keep your cat or dog from reproducing and creating strays, also can keep your cat or dog from wanting to escape your yard 24/7 for some action. I believe cats also are in pain when they're in heat??? That's why they always yell. And the male cat penis has spikey things on it so it hurts when they have sex too???

I see a difference.

You can trim the nails and/or you can buy caps for the nails which will need to be replaced once a month.

But I mean fuck it, it's just a pet. Why not just trade it in for a better one. I'm sure it has no feelings and should come after your fears for your material possessions.
