Sorry, that logic just doesn't hold up. If that were the case, we wouldn't use anyone or anything as examples of good or bad behavior. Your premise is a false dichotomy, the only choices in the situation aren't to be obsessed or never mention someone again; there is plenty of room between the two extremes. Mocking someone that isn't around any longer (or at least doesn't post) isn't even close to being an obsession... here's the definition of an obsession.

I agree. I have many gay friends and have spent many a night at the gay bar knocking back beers and dancing w/ good friends. I know there are whispers amongst the officers about whether or not I'm gay or bisexual...I couldn't care less, LOL The best rumor mill week EVER was the one where I was a lesbian but was fucking 5 different officers.
