this forum is auful slow today

Over the weekend and this morning, OTZ has been loading in my browser very slowly.
All other sites I visit load the same as always.

Oh I know
The server has been getting a lot of problems lately.
On the 20th, I found that mysql was using too much memory. After restart, it was extremely fast.

Right now, the issue is due to R1Soft running a seed backup. I am still waiting for an update from R1Soft regarding our backup system and hope that it will start working very soon.

I have R1Soft so that it takes backups of the forum every single day. Can never be to careful. But it has not been like this. Something is going wrong and it seems to be going up and down on the scale of slowness lately. I may end up moving to a new server soon.

Edit: I merged the two threads talking about the slowness.

The most recent post list was also out of order.. With new posts being listed a few down rather than the top of the list...I don't know if that means anything or not but it is the first time I noticed post order being off.
