1. What are the ingredients of the annual flu shot?
• Egg proteins: including avian contaminant viruses such as avian leucosis
• Gelatin: known to cause allergic reactions and anaphylaxis - usually associated with sensitivity to egg or gelatin proteins
• Polysorbate 80 (Tween 80): can cause severe allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis
• Formaldehyde: known carcinogen
• Triton X100: a strong detergent
• Sucrose: table sugar
• Resin: known to cause allergic reactions
• Gentamycin: an antibiotic
• Thimerosal: 49.6 percent ethyl mercury (still in multidose vials)
yeah this makes me want a shot...
neither have Iive never gotten the regular flu shot. never have, never will. same thing will go for the h1n1
theyd prefer everyone get this shot... I was told I should get an N1n1 & flu shot when I went to see my PULMONARY doctor.... Sorry i'm not getting shot up with a dead bacteria
i hate needles aswell... iver had many poked into me and they still have to fuckin prick my finger to take my blood levels until MarchThe flu is viral, not bacterial. In addition, the flu shot doesn't actually have a dead or inert part of the virus in it at this point at time either.
That being said, I'm petrified of needles and see no need to get the shot. If I get the flu, then I get the flu. I've had it a grand total of once in my adult life.
