The situation concerning safety of men as well as women is much worse than it was before 9/11. Reason:: Anger and frustration of people, devastation of economy, support lent by the US to corrupt leaders and finally the US aggression, oppression and occupation of some one else's land!
Sooner or later the coalition will have to leave and the land of the people will always belong to its people. Days of expansionism have gone but days of aggression not. what a pity!! Think!

It really annoys me that our media and us call them 'honor killings'.

It is murder. End of story, cold blooded murder.

Japanese are still wont to commit harakari if they lost face!! If a woman 'dishonors' her family, her tribe, her clan, the custom of the tribe takes law into its own hand and will most probly kill her as well as the man who seduced her into lechery or revolt from the tribal rules. It's kinda 'provocation' by the victims to their families and tribes for doing something prohibited by their customs. It's the same with every tribal people regardless of their religion or belief (except perhaps the West which takes 'honor' in some other way!!)...

Notwithstanding above, such killings are unlawful yet done in some tribal cultures.... Please send some missionaries here to 'reform' by telling good things to those tribal brutes...You see here the significance of some Religion comes into play and it was for this reason alone that prophets and saints were sent to take care of stupid people!
