I ruined one of my horses.







And what do we learn from this? The factory finish horses are fine but do not pack customs with paper. It sticks to the paint.

oh no!! I'm sure there must be something you can do to safely remove the paper.

This happened to my other customs that I had wrapped in paper, though not nearly as severe as this one. It comes off to a degree by rubbing it gently with a damp cloth but in some places it's almost like the paper has melted into the paint, if that makes any sense. My other models I was able to get most of it off but this one is ruined, I'm afraid. At least it wasn't expensive.

Ugh, I can't believe I waited until now to eat supper. I'm shakey and don't feel very good. :unsure: I got caught up with re-packing my model collection and dealing with stuff here. Sometimes food is an after-thought. :ninja

I don't have any but I don't think it will work. It's impossible to photograph but it's like the paper has reacted with the gloss and has "sunk in" to it. :unsure: The only way to fix it would be to strip the gloss and re-apply it. It's a pretty model but I'm not terribly bummed about it. I only paid $20 for her. It would probably be more expensive to fix than it's worth.

I ordered this beauty today. :ninja If this keeps up I'm going to have to block that website because they keep coming up with models I have to have. I simply don't have the storage/display space to keep buying model horses. :ninja
