On the second day, God created Man to serve the Horse.

On the third day, God created all the animals of the earth to spook the Horse when Man was upon his back.

On the fourth day, God created an honest day's work so that man could labor to pay for the keeping of the Horse.

On the fifth day, God created the grasses in the field so that Horse could eat and man could toil and cleanup after the Horse.

On the sixth day, God created veterinary science to keep the Horse healthy and Man broke.

On the seventh day, God rested and said "This is good. This will teach Man humility, it will tire him out and keep him striving ever forward to meet the needs of the Horse."

Do you ever ponder the circumstances that brought you to a specific point at a specific time? The other day I followed a purple Mustang from Kelowna to Penticton. It's mind boggling to consider how many things had to happen at a precise time in order to bring my car and the Mustang together on the highway at the same time. What if we had decided to go shopping after all? What if the driver of the Mustang had left their place two seconds later, ended up catching all the red lights and ended up a fair distance behind me? :willy_nilly: Am I the only person who thinks about stuff like that? I'll be driving to the grocery store and see a random person walking on the sidewalk and start wondering about the sequence of events that brought each of us to that point at that precise moment. :willy_nilly: One of these days I think I shall discover that I am quite mad.

I just baked Amish Friendship Bread. I made a couple of minor substitutions and turned it into a lemon poppyseed loaf. It's very tasty. :cool

You're not the only one - I do think like that also.

e.g. what if I'd left just a minute later from work, would I have been in the situation that I was when two lanes were going into one and I was determined not to let some motorcyclist in who zoomed right up to the last possible place and met me, or rather - his bike met my car. After some effing and blinding (from him) he went on his way. Maybe he'll think twice for a wee while about zooming right up and assuming people will let you in... grrr.

But yeah - random situations or people going to and fro - I do think about "what if?" as well.

I wonder what he's like to handle. It looks like he likes to strike. He'd probably nail me with those hoofs because I'm not as careful as I should be walking in front of horses. I've delveloped bad habits because, for a stallion, Bey is a dream to handle.
