Although everything was tied in together nicely, I can't help but think that none of them came close to the first one (perhaps the Empire Strikes Back a close second). I didn't think it could get any worse after the ewoks, but jar jar binks proved me wrong LOL

And yes, I'm getting them for my son.

The prequels are fucking terrible. I despise them, I won't even watch them. I swear. I would buy the originals if they were offered in a set, but it's the whole saga instead. So I'm stuck with Jar Jar fucking Binks who almost killed the franchise. George Lucas can rot in hell for that character. :fing27

I can still remember my cousin coming up for a visit from Philly when our parents we're going to drop us off at that movie (yes, a little older than you), and my cousin telling me Darth Vader was Lukes father. I was totally blown away.

And here I'm trying to explain to my 6 year old son the other week watching the 1977 Star Wars film how Darth Vader is actually Annakin (sp?) Skywalker LOL

Got to admit it though, I don't find the cartoon "The Clone Wars" all too bad.

I have to agree, the Clone Wars is actually pretty good quality.

I believe so. Lucas did a full digital RESTORATION as opposed to a REMASTER. It promises to be amazing. :thumbup

I just wish Lucas would offer the films in Blu-Ray without changing the films. He mucked around with the Special Edition so Greedo shot at Han first and now he has changed the scene where Vader turns on the Emperor. Leave good enough alone dickhead.
