Whoever did that was a vid shop genius!!

Why Obama for you Obama guys out there? I spent about an hour on his website the other night.

Beyond asking for money, he wasn't really very clear on much. He'll pull troops in 12 months, and he's pushing for socialized medicine, but otherwise his views read very open ended.

I could see a lot of Conservative on his site, but his voting record is as liberal as they come.

Now that he's rolling fat with the $$, what do you guys think of him bowing out of public funding while the Republican sticks with it?

Also... What's with the "O" symbol thingy? It's freaky cultish like. :wtf:

He's a West Ham supporter!:D:rockon:

Gets my vote, if I could!:D;)

Still waiting. Looks like you've had to think REALLY hard about this one!:D

Sorry for the long wait.

1. Iraq War - nessesary (at the very least, at the time,) as one more counter-terrorist measure.
2. Stood up to the terrorists and invaded 2 countries where they were reported to have prominence.
3. Has banned partial birth abortion.
4. supports defense of marrige act.
5. lots of tax cuts, promoting a healthy capitalist economy.
6. Killed Kyoto Global Warming Treaty
7. Signed the LARGEST nuclear arms reduction in world history with Russia.
8. Challenged the United Nations to live up to their responsibilities and not become another League of Nations (in other words, showed the UN to be completely irrelevant).
9. Told the United Nations we weren't interested in their plans for gun control (i.e., the International Ban on Small Arms Trafficking Treaty).
10. Initiated review of all federal agencies with the goal of eliminating federal jobs (completed September 2003) in an effort to reduce the size of the federal government while increasing private sector jobs.
11. Tries to help faith-based programs and charities in schools and communities.
12. Patriot Act
13. Strong Stance on his issues, a trait admirable in any president. He hasn't let America's betrayal get in his way.
14. Initiation of the Global War on Terror, instead of just hoping they didn't attack us, we struck them first.
15. Wants to defend Taiwan "At any cost".
16. Wants to privatize Social Security

I'll be posting more and more regularly. :ninja

As a non rich person I can say I got a nice tax cut. :)

The government ran SS is grossly inefficient and bankrupt. Why would privatizing it be a bad thing?

Um wrong. He is smart enough not to buy into the man made global warming BS because it is the politically correct thing to do.

Except that there is a lot of evidence it isn't bullshit

The UN has proven itself useless. Iraq is an example of that. Why should the US, who by the way props up the UN, need their approval to do anything?

The UN was doing an ok job till the US and allies defied it

Like it or not, gun ownership is a right in this nation and for a good reason. Why should the US take seriously a bunch of socialists who were not even elected?

Because of your out of control gun crimes rates
Promotes charity.

Nothing wrong with charity, bit of a problem when its dictated by religious rules. Over here orphans in religious orphanages are not put with loving gay parents ect

You have no idea what the patriot act is do you? :24:

Not really, which was why my reply was a question.

The government ran SS is grossly inefficient and bankrupt. Why would privatizing it be a bad thing?

Because private companies main goal is to make money. improve or overhaul the system you already have.

Good to see that despite our vast differences, there are still one or two things we can agree on here though. :)

I have seen that evidence and it is BS. The whole man-made global warming scam is politically driven. It does not take a genius to figure that out.
The UN has proven itself useless. Iraq is an example of that. Why should the US, who by the way props up the UN, need their approval to do anything?

The UN was doing an ok job till the US and allies defied it
Oh? when?

Out of control gun crimes? Do you think violent crime would take a nose dive if the US banned guns? lol
Promotes charity.

Well lets shut down the charities that have religious roots. I'm sure that will help the kids a lot. :smiley24:
You have no idea what the patriot act is do you? :24:

Not really, which was why my reply was a question.

The patriot act does not allow the US government to spy on protesters like it is shown in the news.
The government ran SS is grossly inefficient and bankrupt. Why would privatizing it be a bad thing?

Because private companies main goal is to make money. improve or overhaul the system you already have.
And this is bad? When companies want to make money they become more efficient. Do you honestly believe a privatized SS would not be insured by the US government?
How do you think a bloated and inefficient company, the US government, is some how better than private industry? How does giving so much power to a select group of assholes make things better?

Yes, Evidence shows that. Gun laws are much more tightened here and our gun crime is a fraction of yours, incomparable in all honesty.

And this is bad? When companies want to make money they become more efficient. Do you honestly believe a privatized SS would not be insured by the US government?

Good point and one way of looking at it. Personally though I belive its the governments responsibility to provide free health care. Your health care may be better than ours by a long shot but at least I dont have to worry about whether I can afford hospital treatment if something is wrong with me.

Other points, I've already put my case elsewhere so don't see the point of going over them again, lets just agree to disagree on them, ok?;)

I said violent crime, not gun crime.
Government figures 'missing' two million violent crimes - Crime, UK - Independent.co.uk

Funny, I am not rich and neither is my family yet I was able to get an expensive implant to help me hear. This is something that was not necessary to my health.

LMAO when you are wrong you are wrong. Removing gun rights does not reduce violent crime as you nation shows.

Just shows you somebody who is not rich in any way can somehow afford an elective procedure despite the evil of capitalist medicine. :)

Funny, I see cases of people in socialist health care societies not get to see a doctor. Yet some how government running the system is a good thing. lol
And on top of that me as a poor stupid immigrant can get an expensive elective surgery. Yes american health care just sucks. lol

Who is denied health care here? Take a look at the wonderful system in the UK where DOCTORS are for denying health care to unhealthy overweight people.
