So, an update on me and my toon - she is not lvl 70 and questing in Northrend
This weekend I will be trying to do the Black Morass for my Master of Elixirs quest - I goth an offer from an 80 from the guild to help so maybe it won't be that bad
Oh and I got a Celestial Steed today - soooo pretty and sparky and cool![]()
I elected not to get a Celestial Steed, and got Lil' XT for the both of us instead![]()
I cant say I really care if people want to spend money buying novelty items, as long as they cant buy gear or achievements.
that doesnt justify anything,
the idea of buying mounts is selfish for blizzard to do, earning mounts feels rewarding. I pay for content monthly why should I pay extra?
If you don't want to pay extra, you don't buy the mount. That's all there is to it. They're not selling 310% speed or anything like that (though they pretty much said that 310% would be purchasable with gold in Cataclysm like normal epic flying is now). They're not selling gear, they're selling cosmetic items, which I view no differently than a name or faction change, or a character re-customization. I just bought a name change for one of my Paladins because I kept having him made fun of by my OWN GUILD because of his name. That's a cosmetic purchase, just like the Celestial Steed is. I bought the Pandaren Monk for the both of us too, and I'll probably get around to getting Lil' KT sometime soon as well, along with the steed eventually. There are plenty of other mounts out there that are cooler than the Celestial Steed that you have to earn in-game (like the Ironbound/Rusted Proto Drakes, Mimiron's Head, Ashes of Al'ar, etc), and allowing people the ability to buy a somewhat cool looking mount doesn't ruin any of those in my opinion.

I'm ok with this
he convinced me quicker than you with less filler
All that filler brought up one good thing though, ask him what his Paladin's name was :24:
lol...
