  2. 4% are more conservative.
  3. 1% are more liberal.
  4. 33% are more socialist.
  5. 46% are more authoritarian.
The phrasing of the quiz tells me the writer is a communist. :D
Some of those "hints" didn't match the statements.
Bad quiz.

eta: I dug a little deeper into the 'learn more' links and found their description of "progressive neo-liberalism" whatever the hell that means.
Read the FAQ at the home page:
Are you 'commies bastards'?
Not last time I checked. Quite the opposite actually. My score is 0/-6.5. Halfway between Conservative and Progressive Neo-Liberalism. I am a die-hard capitalist. Sometimes people feel that the test must be progressive because of the reference to George Lakoff. I love his book and his theories but I don't share all his political opinions.

Wow! Posting a Bolshevik propaganda poster to back up your point. Remind me again of how the Bolshevik experiment turned out?

Also, that poster was an attack on the czar and his system. You seem to be confusing Absolute Monarchy with Capitalism.

Just a quick correction. The poster was actually illustrated in the United States for use in the 'Industrial Worker', a newspaper published by the IWW. The content of the poster itself was a critique of the class system brought on by capitalism in the US. Here's a quote describing the illustration below -

Labor Arts said:
The Pyramid of Capitalist System is a provocative illustration of the hierarchical system of capitalist rule in America. In this beautifully colored portrait, the artist depicts the multiple tiers of working class oppression. At the top of the pyramid sits the state, which serves the interests of the ruling class and functions under capitalism as the protector of private wealth and property. Below the state stand the religious leaders, clergymen, and preachers of false consciousness who encourage obedience to and acceptance of the status quo, entreating the working masses to accept their ordained fate and seek their just rewards not on earth but in that glorious hereafter.

Funny, because when I was studying History at school that very same poster appeared in it as an attack on the Czar. I think if you notice the date on it, that would seem more likely. At that time everyone was all heated up about mass poverty while the Czar was living the life of riley. I doubt most Russians around then gave a shit about the USA, one way or the other.

The early 1900's was also a time of 'radical' unionism, where, in the United States (of particular relevancy, as this is where the poster was published) organizations such as the IWW attempted to mobilize the working class in order to abolish the capitalist system. Unsurprisingly, they employed propaganda to promote the belief that capitalism benefitted a small minority at the expense of the majority or, the working class.

This poster, was a part of promoting that message. Regardless, it doesn't detract from the fact that the poster should not be considered as solely a critique of one monarch, but rather, being a critique of capitalism itself.

I doubt most Russians around then gave a shit about the USA, one way or the other.

I'm sure that is true. However, the poster was both illustrated in the United States, and published in the Industrial Worker, a newspaper based in the United States. With that being said, I disagree with the notion of the poster as being part of Bolshevik propaganda of the time.

Read the small print & contact information on the poster. Definitely USA 1911.

Capitalism survives and thrives in every society. Black markets fill the niche markets that authoritarian rules prohibit.

First off, our results were nearly identical :D

Secondly, did you see part of their definition of conservatism?

Children are born bad and should become taught self-discipline and self-reliance to become productive members of society.
