Kyle Petty, former NASCAR driver and son of Richard Petty, was someone I chatted with briefly ten or twelve years ago at New Hampshire International Speedway.

Kyle's pleasant to talk with, but he's never at a loss for words. If you don't believe me, listen to Kyle when he's commentating on TV during a race.

I saw Lights in concert in September 2010 back at my college. She was the last I would've seen in person.

The last celebrity I would've spoken to in person would've been Josh Ramsay, though, after a Marianas Trench concert in June of 2009 (when getting him to sign stuff for me).

I've met literally hundreds.

The last I can recall was Ron Livingston who starred in Office Space and Band of Brothers. He had dinner in my restaurant while in Atlanta filming a movie.

I've met Johnny Unitas, Alan Jackson, and former President Bush (Dubya's daddy). These were actual meetings and conversations, not just saying hi and getting something signed.

The closest thing to meeting someone famous are the times that I have chatted with bands. I had a nice 15 minute conversation with the members of my favorite band "Oh Sleeper", a popular band, but not popular enough to where you guys would have heard of em. Unless you like screamo. I won vip tickets (long story) to this lame concert with Toby Mac and Skillet, I got to interview with them. But that's about it.

Steve Letarte, crew chief for Dale Earnhardt Jr., used to be a classmate of mine from the sixth grade to the ninth grade here in Maine before he moved to North Carolina in 1994.
