dErP. 1 was ok at best.
Acting was shit... Ewan Mcgregor, natalie Portman were bad.. nothing else to it. In addition the random ass only put in for failed comic relief jar jar was a disgrace to the lore in my book that whole gungan race was well.. it just shouldnt have been in, not this way. The kenobi, QuiGon and darth maul fight was the best lightsaber duel ever! definitely the jewel of all three of the movies
dErP 2 was a little better
Acting was shill crap but the story line and continuation was rather good. One problem i always had was how was it possible for Princess Amidala to not have aged while the other little twerp went from being a 5-6 yr old kid to a hormone crazed teenager? the Dooku and yoda fight was "ok, that is some bullshit tbh" for dooku and yoday to have been master swordsmen it left quite a bit to desire... the acrobatics were simply too much in my book.
dErP 3 was much better, still some of the acting was lack luster... but for the most part it was the better of the three in my book.
kenobi/anakin dightsaber duel was unimpressive at best...
As far as lightsaber duels the trilogy climaxed waaaaaaay too early lol

Fun fact: Star wars galaxies (the star wars MMO) had gungans and it was not uncommon to find players slaughtering the Gungan NPCs just for fun...

JarJar ruined the entire movie. As I recall, a group of nerds got together and edited him out entirely and then posted the video on the internet. Sad to think the Empire was lost because of a fucking retarded character that was only in the movie for a "laff riot". Fuck.
Here are my thoughts...
Episode one - Fucking horrendous. Terrible acting, the crappiest of crappy Sith Lords, and Jar Jar Binks.
Episode two - Not nearly as bad. Terrible acting, fucking Jar Jar again, and Hayden Christensen makes me want to punch the Elderly.
Episode three - Nearly as bad as episode one. Worst climax, and the ending just felt way too rushed. Once again, Hayden Christensen. :thumbdown
Jar Jar Binks caused the f'ing clone wars, and nearly caused the extinction of the Jedi order.
And anyone who thinks the prequels are better than the originals, I won't even touch that.

That's why I prefer to think of Hayden Christensen's character as "Manikin Skywalker"... he SUCKED.

I love the movies and the music by John Williams is great. They have great books and overall great lore. I just listened to an audiobook that was star wars but it wasn't classified as Sci Fi it was classified as horror. And it was damn good.
