You and me both :24: But, Dell laptops are solid machines, you'll be happy with it.

So I read. My other laptop is a Dell. I was very rough with it and it took 2 years and water spilling on it to break :24: HP was a bit cheaper, but yeah, based on research and experience I trust Dells.

Luckily I still have a 3 year hardware warranty on my other

I have heard that Win 7 is a really great OS, some have said it's better than OS X. I don't quite believe that, but I'm glad to hear a majority of people complementing Microsoft on an OS release, that's unusual.

The thing with panacea's thread is that her needs are different than mine. I went all out on my Dell laptop before- I think it came to 1200 dollars. So now I'm spoiled lol. I need at least 320GB Hard Drive, webcam and mic, bluetooth, built in wireless, DVD burners/player, good audio, and good graphics (HD is preferred but I can settle). Sturdy build too.

It was an intention to share so maybe you can use that site to help u look for the cheapest price to what you need.

Did you get it yet? YUp! Am lazy reading all the posts :nod:

It's the best Microsoft OS to date. I've been using it since the RC1 beta and couldn't dream of going back. I can't wait to replace the computers I have here at work with Win 7 machines.
