I figured that was probably the case. :24: I looked for it when I was originally looking through, but only noticed mentions that she would probably get time served. But, in trying to get the thread a little back on track, I didn't bother going to actually look. :willy_nilly:

I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT SHE GOT AWAY WITH IT!!!!
Jesus, I mean, it's so obvious she's hiding something. Who would hinder the invistigation into their daughter's disappearance?
All this crap about a strange babysitter taking her but she never reported it, nor could she name the babysitter.
This woman is 100% guilty, and she gets to walk free from court.
She should have NEVER been acquitted for this crime. Never.
I am shocked and disgusted with this.

God... another one of you? The prosecution didn't provide enough evidence to convict her. Plain and simple. It being "obvious" that she's hiding something doesn't prove guilt, nor does it mean that she's hiding anything having to do with her daughter's death.

I just don't understand the attitude some of you people have that you somehow know 100% that she did it. Honestly, from what I've heard and read, I think there's a pretty damn good chance that the grandfather had a lot to do with it.

The fact is that you cannot know what happened, period. None of us can. The jury did what they could do with the piss poor case that the prosecution presented. That's our justice system, and that's why it works.

We know who is right but my point was she didn't base her comments on the evidence that was presented at the trial and that's what's really important.

I doubt that soothes the concerns of people who believe she was involved in the death of her child. I would consider this an easy outcome if she did have anything to do with it, seeing as how a portion of that time was served for other charges independent of the murder trial.

Thats because in our twisted society, some folks think if you are charged with MURDER, you stay in jail. go figure.....
