The Caylee Anthony Case

I can't believe there's not a thread about this case!!! For those of you living under a rock, Caylee Anthony is a beautiful missing 3 year old girl from Orlando, FL. Her mother, Casey Anthony, is currently in jail on a slew of charges including first degree murder. Caylee's body still has not been found and her mother and her familiy refuse to cooperate w/ authorities. Everything Casey has told the cops has been a lie from the beginning. Her parents are either completely stupid or in denial. The mother, Cindi, has made statements on recorded lines that she now denies. The father, George, actually had the nerve to say the other day that whatever dead body was in his daughter's trunk is NOT his granddaughter (cause, ya know, the fact that your duaghter even HAD a dead body in her trunk is no big deal as long as it wasn't her daughter???). Honestly, I think the whole damn family is crazy!!!

The FBI released test results yesterday that confirm what appears to be human decomposition in Casey's trunk. A decomposed hair found in the trunk matches the DNA of Caylee and Casey's hair. It is pretty obvious at this point that the little girl is no longer alive. My hope is that the investigators working the case are offering to take the death penalty off the case if Casey will take them to the body. I don't see that Casey will EVER tell the truth unless there's something in it for her...and even then, I'm sure it'll be a LIMITED version of the truth.

So what are YOUR thoughts on the case???

P.S. I think I'm gonna call Nancy Grace next week w/ a question. I'm really interested in knowing whether or not Casey's parents can be charged w/ hindering the investigation due to their refusal to cooperate.

P.P.S. I *for realz* say the C-word A LOT when Casey or her mom are on the television. They disgust me!!! I keep hoping one day that I'll be watching and someone will take matters in their own hands. Oh lord...if they do, the FBI is gonna come question me!!! LOL

that awful.. im sceptical of most who report their child missing in these situations..part of me still thinks the mcanns know more. Some papers said the found decomposed fluid in the boot of the car they rented.. but then do u believe everything u read in the paper. and what about Shannon Matthews whos parents saw the nice plump appeal money that the mcanns got and pretended their own daughter had been abducted.. and she was living with her uncle the whole time..

doubt they can be charged on obstruction as you can't be forced to incriminate yourself.

what grinds me though is how certain cases get national attention. there are lots of missing children out there. If I was the parent of one I would be pissed off to beat hell that that this one is getting so much attention while mine isn't

Well true...but come on, Donnie, that particular dead body was not Caylee's...it was someone else w/ the same DNA in their hair that was decomposing that just HAPPENED to decompose in Casey's trunk. I mean, that makes sense, doesn't it??? *rolls eyes* Does her family even listen to the shit they say???

I have been following this...and it disgusts me. The woman is evil personified ....i think its obvious that lil caylee isnt with us. At 1st i was praying this woman was just a greedy bitch who had sold her daughter.....now, because of what all the evidence is pointing at...its hard to have any hope.

She was a beautiful lil girl....and if i was a warden where this skanky bitch was being jailed i would slip her some slow acting toxins...let her die slowly and painfully...

Absolute piece of shit that entire family is! My thoughts are she accidentally killed her with some sort of crude chloroform mixture she got off the web, so she could go party and shit. Then realizing her daughter was dead, drove around for hours/if not days freaking out on what to do next. Then she probably threw her body in one of the many lakes or rivers with alligators in it. Her body will never be found..

I Hope she gets the death penalty!! Fucking piece of garbage. I have an 18 month old son, and I freak out when I don't where he is for 5 minutes. And this piece of shit waits a month before doing anything??!!?! ----steps off soap box---

Anybody watching the news tonight??? Skeletal remains were found near the Anthony home. DNA testing is underway, but Tim Miller from Texas Equisearch says it appears to be Caylee.

Anybody else find it odd that the Anthonys are in California for their Larry King appearance and all of a sudden the remains are found??? And did anybody watch the interview w/ Larry King last night??? I've never watched him before, but is he always so soft on people??? Geez, it was like a hugathon!!!

Oh geez...anybody else read the e-mails between Cindy and her brother??? Apparently Casey showed up at his wedding 7 months pregnant and DENIED being pregnant, saying "you have to have sex to get pregnant." LOL...WTF??? I certainly don't mean this to be taken the wrong way, but I hope that is Caylee. The last thing we need to find out is ANOTHER child is missing.

And seriously- what is wrong with someone whose own flesh and blood is missing.

I don't know if anyone remembered the grandfather saying this, but I think he and his wife are protecting Casey. He said that he hoped it wasn't true because he didn't want to think that he could bring someone into this world and raise them only for Casey to take her own child's life.

I also heard today that when Casey and Caylee first disappeared- Cindy didn't know where either of them were for a month, and then Casey came back alone- it was Cindy's fault. She attacked Casey, and scared her enough to make her leave. She probably feels like it's her fault, and that's why she's protecting Casey.

The whole thing just blows my mind....

I don't believe for one minute that Caylee is alive...so I, too, hope that these remains are hers so she can be given a proper burial.

The grandfather has done a 180 now. Before he was rational...now he's just as sucked into Casey's lies as his wife. He straight up LIED on Larry King the other night. His testimony before the grand jury was that the smell in the trunk was the smell of decay and that you NEVER forget that smell. Wednesday night on Larry King he said "I didn't know how bad rotting food left in a car trunk for 19 days could smell." Anybody that knows ANYTHING about cadaver dogs knows that they are trained to hit ONLY on human decomposition...and they would not hit on rotting food.
