The Royal wedding was indeed light-hearted fare.
This trial was not. Heck, I still haven't forgotten Jessica Lundsford's killer, john couey, sitting at the defense table coloring to show his insanity. Freaking please.
As mob-mentality was mentioned above, Jessica's dad & grandfather were convicted by the media & some of it's followers before couey was ever arrested.
That was another media circus designed to tug at people emotionally. But don't get them riled up about something they could actually change what would benefit them. Oh no, no, no. That would upset the status quo.
Sadly, none of this will bring either little girl back. Nor the hundreds like them we'll never hear about. Unless another distraction is needed in a pinch?
Unless she's a sociopath :dunno Either way, you're right. She's definitely not gonna come close to ever having a normal life again, if she ever had one to begin with.

Everyone has their garbage pile, and it's not even a case of some are worse than others... I think the smell just varies state to state
