You miss the point. In the US, you are free to practice ANY religion you want. What your religion is should not affect my own personal freedoms, don't you agree? Just because you are Islamic should not affect the way I should live my life as I see fit as long as I don't harm others.

What is great about the US is you should have the same protection under law to practice what YOU want as long as it does not infringe on the rights of others.

Do I personally believe in homosexuality? Not really. That said, I see no reason why two people in love should not be granted the same rights and benefits that my wife and I have. That's what the US seems to be struggling with of late. Just because you do something I don't agree with doesn't give me or the law the right to imprision you (or worse) as long as you aren't hurting others.

You mentioned pornography some time ago. Is there absolutely NO pornography in Pakistan? We've been down this road in the US as far as what is and is NOT allowed.
