:wtf:Where did I ever say Europe hasn't had it's share of wars? All I said was that the Arabs have been fighting forever. I didn't say they were the only ones to ever fight.

Iran said today that it will not abandon its nuclear program. I think Obama's carrot and stick approach will not work for Iran. Forget about the carrot. Just use the stick and tighten sanctions.

So what? Everybody has been fighting forever. All I was saying is that Israel is the focus of Arab hatred. Add it's creation after the second world war with the arbitrary carving and creating of countries after the first world war and you have two very strong reasons for Arab resentment towards the west. All the west did then, and continue to do now, is practice colonialism on the region. Stupid is the nation that fails to learn from history.

The Jews have a historical claim to the area but got punted eons ago. That the nation of Israel was created is a fact. Why isn't anybody grabbing a chunk of France and Spain and creating a nation for the Basques? Their claim is as legitimate as any Jew.

And stop agreeing with Strauss. It gives me the creeps! :yuk
