Iraq was a first world country, if I understand what that term means. Only the incessant bombing and blockade throughout the nineties reduced it to a stone-age mudhole.

As for Iran and Nigeria being a "shambles", well, that is neither here nor there. The economic and cultural state of those nations are not related to the price of oil. Also, the talk of war with Isreal and the Arab nations is just idiocy. It sounds more like, "My dad can beat up your dad." schoolyard bully talk.

Israel is a close ally of USA. If your best friend is in trouble surrounded by muslims with mad cows disease are you just gonna walk away and ignore? The economy of oil producing countries is mainly dependent on oil revenues. Nigeria and Iran is in shambles despite beeing among top oil producers is simply cuz of massive corruption. Furthermore oil wells in nigeria are continously being sabotaged by muslim rebels

I don't approve anybody crashing planes into American buildings, or anybody else's buildings for that matter, no more than I approve of anybody crashing their ideology into other people's culture.
