Oh man, there are a lot of people up in arms over it. They're also confused, though, and think this is the new standard uniform and that the team is doing away w/ the beloved "silver britches." The only part of the uniform I don't like is the waistband area on the pants...I don't like the way it looks.

A&M evidently sent an official notice to the Big-12 that they're exploring their options to switch conferences.

8 days until kickoff... for that, I give you not one... but two players.

First off, I give you Robbie Rouse, RB... AKA Mighty Mouse. He rushed for over 200 yards in two straight games last year... vs. Louisiana Tech, and then against Nevada. He also rushed for over 1,100 yards last year, despite starting off the year injured and missing the second game of the year entirely, while accounting for all of 175 yards through the first five games of the year.

Now, moving on,I give you the most famous #8 to play for Fresno State. That man whose brother will lead the team for at least the next two seasons... #1 draft choice to the Houston Texans in the 2002 NFL draft, winner of the 2001 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award............ David Carr.

Saturday takes us to a mere 7 days before kickoff... so here we have #7, Devon Wylie, WR... the fastest player in Fresno State history, who ran a 4.25 40.

With 5 days to go, our #5 is Victor Dean, who at 6'6" is the tallest receiver in Fresno State history. He hasn't played a snap in college yet, and will likely miss the first three games of the year with a foot injury. When he gets healthy though, defenses will need to beware, since he looks to be nearly uncoverable on the fade route in the end zone.

The Lions have not been able to do that with Calvin Johnson. And he has similar size and amazing leaping abilities.
