Maybe, I mean he's dangerous but I always thought you'd keep the strong players while you were competing as a team. I just don't care for the part about losing on purpose.

Russell's slippery, though. If they kept him around until the merge he'd probably be unbeatable by then. Trying to decide when to vote someone out is always a fine line to walk, especially when the best strategic player is also a strong physical player.

You know, I feel the same way about Rob...except for this time around. I don't know what's wrong with me but I'm actually hoping he does well. :unsure: I was chipper when he found the hidden immunity idol today. :eek :ninja I think I need a good smack upside the head. :willy_nilly:

Because Russell was the most fascinating character to ever be on the show. He brought huge ratings. There's no one else on this cast that interests me in the slightest. They all seem boring and fairly stupid.

That tribe already has physically strong people on it, so they could afford to rid themselves of Russell.

I seriously don't fucking understand why the other tribe didn't get rid of Phillip though. He's a liability in challenges, he's a bigger guy, but he doesn't seem to have any stamina or strength. Not to mention the fact that he's a complete nutjob.

Zapatera made a huge mistake in the short term in not keeping Stephanie. But, I think she would've flipped in a second if she was around at the merge, so it could turn out to be a better decision in the long run. But if they lose another challenege, Sarita is gone, and the whole thing was moot.

I don't get the whole... "we can't trust her" thing. Trust her with WHO? They already voted out every other person she was aligned with? She had no one else to conspire with! And one potential turncoat at the merge wouldn't hurt them if they were winning challenges and reducing the size of the other tribe.


It's just another Survivor truism: The hot girls ALWAYS get voted out early. Always.

I thought Zapatera was going to win the immunity/reward challenge today. They've been in a funk ever since throwing the challenge to vote off Russell. While I was all for getting rid of Russell I'm not sure why teams continue to throw challenges. It always ends up being that team's downfall.

I had to laugh at Ralph during tribal council. Jeff asks him about the cohesivness of the tribe and he responds "Jeff, I don't know what cohesive means." :24:
