I didn't get a chance to watch this episode yesterday because a mare foaled and I had to go to work early. So I taped it and watched it just now. Tribes are throwing challenges early in this game.

Woohoo for Russell being voted out!! :woohoo: I just hope someone can beat him on Redemption Island or it will all be for naught.

I was shocked that they threw the challenge... but, it turned out the way they planned! Idol used and Russell voted off.

However... OMG! If Russell wins the challenge on Redemption Island... God help them all. :willy_nilly:

Yes, Redemption Island is a new twist this season. The way it works is, if you get voted off, you go to Redemption Island to face off in a challenge with the next person voted off to Redemption Island. If you win the challenge, you get to go back to your tribe. :ninja

It's insane!

On the reality show, the 2 tribes are on different islands from the get-go... the only times the tribes see one another is for reward and immunity challenges... until the merge. It's a great show!! The season just started 2 weeks ago. Take a look.

I think it was a good strategic move to be honest. Russell was a cancer on the tribe, so they cut it out to make them stronger.

Maybe, I mean he's dangerous but I always thought you'd keep the strong players while you were competing as a team. I just don't care for the part about losing on purpose.
