my 8th grade teacher detained me for caning as punishment for laughing in the class. When he lifted his cane and brought it down over my hand I snatched it away from him and left him wondering for ever!!!
*bends down and picks up chalk*

Smoking in the Girls Room.
Geez....I was always in trouble...my worst was when I was suspended for 3 days for piercing ears at school.
Oh...and the time we were caught having Orchy bottle bongs in the bush behind school, with the boys from the boys school across the road....the teachers were more concerned that we were with boys than the bong smoking....:willy_nilly:
I cant remember the punishment for that one....luckily, I could forge my mums signature well.:cool

Stole my counselor's car. One month after I spent my summer for the same thing, in "girl's camp." I went to school to go to detention. It was before my 90 day "Double Jeopardy" for juvies was up.

My niece LOVES In School Suspension b/c they get to eat in some different line where she can get chicken nuggets or something like that. *shrugs*
I got morning detention for passing notes in class...and I got sent to the principal's office in middle school for chewing gum in school.
My nephew just got 3 days ISS for chewing tobacco on campus. He spit it out b/c it was so disgusting and, while doing so, got caught and punished.
I had countless lunch detentions, and I had a 2 week in school suspension for tearing a poster for some Nerd Activity down.
I got detention once for Truancy and I didn't turn up to it. After that, they just put me on repot and in isolation for everything naughty I did.
I also got put in isolation once for telling a friend who was being bullied to go and tell a teacher. She did and the teacher said I bullied her into telling her so I got punished.
I loved isolation though. No stupid people around, I did my lessons and then would read or sleep. I also got put in a room with all the teachers names, addresses and phone numbers ON THE WALL FOR ALL TO SEE (and the I wasn't the only person to be put in that room, for isolation so many people were and then the teachers wondered how students got their numbers and addresses.)

I fell asleep. But then the teacher felt bad so she came back and pulled me out of detention.
I once got detention for asking a teacher a question to something that they had clearly not known the answer to. Such an abuse of power...

I loved ISS too. We got our lunches brought to us and set in cubicles. I found this awesome lol. Plus the ISS teacher was funny. She'd practice her ukilaylee (no idea on spelling). I guess it was suppose to torture us but she was pretty good. I'd try to get ISS whenever possible.
For detention, we'd get it for not dressing out in P.E. So I got detention every month =p Then if we didn't dress out for P.E. four times per semester, we'd get SSI, then another SSI every time after.
I only ever got detention once and it was over leaving the school premises at lunchtime without a valid note from my parents.
I got an after school detention once for passing a note to a friend that said something along the lines of...
'omg did you hear what happened on the ski weekend? Nick totally fingered Dallas in the spa!'
Other than that I never really got caught out for naughty things, although there weren't too many. Mostly just wagging.
