I agree with this and this is why we have alcoholics, drug addicts and fetishes. There are certain people who NEED to grab onto something and hold onto it, whether it be a bible or a bottle. Then there are people who are happy with whom they are and will never fall into alcoholism or addiction (be it drugs, sex or religion)

Spirituality is considered to be one of the 5 areas of total wellness for human beings. A bible is not comparable to a bottle. One is destructive lies, the other is uplifting truth.

Admitting I need God or His Word is an understatement, but I do not need God because I am not happy with who I am. I dare say I am more than likely one of the most happiest people on this site. And quite frankly I believe everyone could do with a great big dose of God's Love in their life. It provides a place of healing that all people could use. No one makes it off this planet unscathed.

This is the hardest part of not knowing.
And I don't know how to answer the question, "What if on Judgement Day (whatever that is) you are standing before God and he says, 'Sorry, buddy, but Buddhism was the way to go.'?"
I think a lot of folks tab that as the reason they refuse to do anything. But if you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
So I'm not going to let not knowing who's right or who's wrong stymie from doing what I feel is right. If I were in India, would I be a Buddhist? Or in Afghanistan, a Muslim? Maybe and probably so, but I can tell you based on what I think I know, I am comfortable with the choice I have made. If that's wrong in the by and by, I can only hope whatever God I answer to will allow for atonement.

Listen Up Peeps
I have dyed before (i know it sounds improper but that is becuse we never say that)
I was without brain activity and heart beat for 0.13 minutes when i was at the hospitol
and i was awaiting a surgery and all of a sudden bleep....bleep....bleep...bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
and next thing i know im waking up to someone calling time of death and they freaked out
anyway i saw a light everyone says
it is the last firing of all the neurons in your body but it was nice like a relaxed feeling not
stressed at all and just lots of light not like a tunnel but more like a fog of white brite light that doesnt give you
that glare eye strain or headache or makes you want to put your hand up to protect your eyes
just relaxed and light
