This is using a technique called masking in the darkroom. It is hard to do. This is NOT done with Photoshop, but I realize it would be way easier in photoshop.
But that's not the point of my "art." My art is photography, not digital photography
And i am very new to it, so be kind.
Forgive the blurry images - they were already matted when I scanned them on my 1990's scanner.
