I think the idea that he doubted the will of his own father, by Old Test. terms was sinful, not to mention probably the wisest idea he had.

IIRC Jesus tried to join a rock band in his teens. When he was cut, he was forced to work at a car wash until that "I'm the Messiah" gig plopped back into his lap around age 30.

If you have, what was so wrong with it, aside from the torching villages, torturing people who claimed God and raining molten sulfur, that Jesus said

"I am not here to destroy the Old Testament, rather to perfect it"

I mean by anyones standards, ANYONE....A smug youngster barely in his twneties telling the creator of everything that his book has issues is arrogant.

What I said had to do with what you had posted. I am not an atheist, HOWEVER what I find interesting is when you point out gaps, loopholes or flat out un-proveables in the book used to support the most powerful business on the planet, you make the very same people who thump it, fall over themselves.

Bottom line is this:

I have a post graduate degree in a particular science, if on the course of my studies, I got to the middle of the textbook and five pages were blank...Would I dis-credit the entire book?

Nope....But I sure would be suspicious of who wrote it, how valid the material was that wasn't blanked out...And what th epublisher was trying to hide.....Even if I thought the rest of the book was good stuff.


But not a Christian.....They will look you square in the eye and swear those pages are either noe actually blank.....Or because God meant it that way.....

Baffling...Admit you don't have an answer to everything, because your text book has a few blank pages, and carry on
