Ummmm.... Dana.... I'm on Facebook and it's strictly family and immediate friends. The way I talk here on this forum.... flirting, innuendos, etc., I never do that on Facebook. NEVER!
If this person is offended by your actions.... take heed if you want to remain their friend.
Maybe she should just delete you as her friend if you want to continue to be 'you'. *shrugs* You don't have to change for anyone if you don't want to. But sometimes.... you can tone it down at the very least.
So.... Yes. I do sugarcoat for others.![]()
or i could confuse the fuck outta someone and goIt's easy to misinterpret words on a page, Dana. The use of smilies sometimes is misleading too.
Perhaps do as I do.... choose one of these: :sarcasm or :jk
and slip it at the bottom of your post.![]()
well with the way shes goin i could say respect is earned... this the same chick who popped a gasket on me after wed met and been textin for weeks. i blame it on the blond hair *runs before someone with blond hair bitches*:homo:
I delete posts on my wall that are out of line and message people not to do it again. If they keep it up, I remove them.
If you don't respect others wishes, you have no respect at all.
Some people are just foul and need to realize that and better themselves.
But I guess opinions are like ass holes...every one has them.
IMO... Id never add a boss to my FB page if I had one or I'd set up a separate acct. I don't believe in acting one way and then actin like that ain't me. I don't do that. Who I am online is who I am everywhere.
I will say that you DO tend to throw the F word out a lot. Not that it offends me...but people here have mentioned it to you before and it didn't change. So I believe you when you say you don't change for anybody. I used to use the F word a lot on my Facebook and decided on my own to tone it down a little, especially after we had a big to-do at work over something that was on a co-worker's Facebook.
Which brings me to this...
Some of us don't get that choice. It is now in our SOP that we must either approve our Lt as a friend or allow her to access our Facebook by signing into our account for her. When you work in public safety, people know you do...and they will shoot a letter to the Sheriff real quick like to complain about something you said or did on Facebook.
Parrots swear???
We have a morality clause in our contract that we sign when we get hired on here...it included on and off-duty behaviors.Serious? Isnt that an invasion of your rights/privacy? I dont see how it could have ANY bearing on how you do your job.
I'm sure our emergency operators here dont have to do that...I will definitely be asking.
Parrots swear???
that is stupid and yes if you teach them. :24::24:I will say that you DO tend to throw the F word out a lot. :24::24:i was wondering the same thing. Perhaps he meant pirates. Easy to confuse pirates and parrots too.... Since those parrots are always sitting on a pirate's shoulder.
.... Or..... Maybe he teaches parrots to swear?
