I guess I asked for it in the long run of things... I come from a house hold where a lot of things are no holds barred and now im getting shit for being my sexual innuendo laden profane self.... FUCK THAT. Do you sugarcoat yourself for individuals?

depends on who it is. and what kinda mood im in. If I run in to a kid that smells. I would never tell the kid what I would say to an adult. I couldnt say "You smell like straight up asshole"

So yes I do candy coat things. you have to depending on the individual :p

i have to with the kind of life i lead.

i can't be all obscene around people whose kids i'm trying to entertain and people in offices, especially government offices, get real upset if you come in there all potty mouthed.

like solomon wrote in ecclesiastes, there is a time and place for everything. there are people you can let it all hang out around --- hell, there are hippie crowds were i can just walk right out of those jeans and nobody cares because everybody's naked and i'm in crowds if a man is showing a little tit because his shirt is unbuttoned too low people start geeking.

for me, it comes down to is it worth to care about what kind of impression i'm making or not.

If you know she doesn't like it then why post comments to her page? Unless she's talking about your status updates, but if that's the case people on her friends list can't see them anyways if you have your FB private and they don't come to your page looking.
 
Ummmm.... Dana.... I'm on Facebook and it's strictly family and immediate friends. The way I talk here on this forum.... flirting, innuendos, etc., I never do that on Facebook. NEVER!

If this person is offended by your actions.... take heed if you want to remain their friend.

Maybe she should just delete you as her friend if you want to continue to be 'you'. *shrugs* You don't have to change for anyone if you don't want to. But sometimes.... you can tone it down at the very least.

IMO... Id never add a boss to my FB page if I had one or I'd set up a separate acct. I don't believe in acting one way and then actin like that ain't me. I don't do that. Who I am online is who I am everywhere.

there is a time and place to be who you are. I doubt your always perverted 24/7 or curse like a sailor non stop. You cant be who you are at all times. you got to tone it down. you got to be considerate of people. Not everyone is like your family. Not everyone wants perverted shit or curse words on their page. Respect her wishes or be deleted or delete her. its that simple

I curse a lot but never curse in front of kids. and if I do I wont say to their parents "well thats who i am and if you dont like it then oh well"

no im not always perverted... I make a few cracks here and there. And I really don't swear like a parrot unless I'm peed off. She makes it sound like i do it 24/7
 
In life, you sometimes need to put your different faces on in different situations, you learn this with maturity and age

Especially the work place and dealing with the public, if you want to keep your job.

SOme people can be smart/super intelligent...but have absolutley NO tact or social skills.:dunno
